Someone who prioritises performance in daily life, regardless of whether they compete in a sport. It's a mindset built on always striving to improve physically.
That there are gaps in their fundamental principles and non-negotiables. Sleep, nutrition, recovery basics. Within two to three weeks of closing those gaps, they start seeing real improvement.
The biggest shift isn't physical, it's mental. Clients tell me their mindset and identity have changed. Goals they thought were out of reach start to feel genuinely possible.
Two to four gym sessions and one to three conditioning sessions, either standalone or built into your gym days. It's tailored directly to your goals, not a generic template.
The programme is built for real life, not a highlight reel. When something knocks you off course, we take a measured approach. One step back, two steps forward. There's a progression system built in specifically for this.
Thirty minutes on Zoom. We get granular on the last six to eight weeks, then reverse engineer the next six to eight weeks to make sure you're progressing in exactly the areas you need most.
Your programme is built around your physical ability, range of motion, strength levels, training history, and injury history, combined with your specific goals. It's designed to develop the qualities you actually need, not a one-size-fits-all block.
It's macro guidance to make sure you're fuelling for the work you're doing and recovering properly. I'm not a nutritionist or dietitian and I won't pretend to be one. For most clients, solid fuelling and macro awareness is all that's needed. If someone needs more specialist support, I have a network of nutritionists I can point them to.
Most clients need some level of gym access. If you've got weights at home, that's a starting point, but the aim over the first eight to twelve weeks is to get you into a gym properly. You can't recreate the adaptations you need without progressive load.
Three. The coaching app for your programme and tracking. The Performance Academy, a modular education platform. And WhatsApp, both one-to-one with me and in the SHSC HQ group chat with other clients.
You can train alongside a partner, though their programme won't be bespoke to yours. I'd advise against group classes, since they generally won't drive the specific development you need. If that's something you want, it's worth a conversation so we can phase it in properly.
Often life-changing. If weight loss is the goal, expect around seven to nine percent of body weight lost in a deficit. Strength typically improves by five to ten percent in that same window. Beyond the numbers, clients report real confidence in the gym and a shift in what they believe is possible.
Not applying themselves fully, and not communicating openly. I'm a mirror. The more you give me, the more I can give back. The more honest you are about how training and life are actually going, the better the programme gets.
Communication and doing the work. If there are limiting beliefs or old identities we're trying to shift and someone isn't honest about their training, nutrition, recovery, or how they're actually feeling, progress slows. I'm meticulous about using data. Without it, I can't make the best decisions for you.
That it's going to be too much. In reality it's the opposite. The first sixteen weeks, the Reform phase, is about building the behaviours and habits outside the gym first. No house stands the test of time if it's built on sand.
I work directly with your physio or osteo. Rehab is essentially low-grade strength and conditioning, so once I understand your injury plan, I integrate it with your programming to get you back to training as smoothly as possible.
No minimum fitness level. There is a minimum expectation around your application and commitment to the process.
Yes. Several clients have shifted seven to ten kilos of body weight while also improving performance. It comes down to meal timing and fuelling training properly, while keeping a slight weekly deficit so performance holds or improves as your body composition changes.
You've got the first fourteen days to decide if this is the right fit. If not, one short email and you'll get a full refund. Beyond that, there's a sixteen-week minimum commitment, because real change happens in that window. It won't always be comfortable, but nobody grows from comfort.
I came from elite sport, where you fight for 0.01 percent improvements. With everyday athletes, the marginal gains are massive. Nailing sleep, nutrition, protein, and fuelling can create huge shifts, because most people don't know what they don't know yet. Watching that growth is genuinely the most rewarding part of what I do.
Load management outside the gym. Recovery, fuelling, and nutrition habits. I use the analogy of a garden deck chair. If one leg is wobbly, the whole thing topples. Training is only one leg of performance. The rest matters just as much.

An everyday athlete is someone who prioritises health and performance that doesn’t necessarily play a sport or have a particular event. It’s a hunger for high performance with an athlete mentality to always keep improving.
Everyday Athlete: CORE is a streamlined version of the full COMP experience built for ambitious professionals who want structured, high-quality training with expert oversight, without the full investment of a premium coaching tier. Designed to deliver the core value of the Everyday Athlete: expert programming, accountability and results.
Yes. this programme is built for high performers, whether your focus is on a specific event like a marathon or Hyrox, levelling up your physical performance or getting in the best physique shape of your life.
However, if you're working towards a clear performance goal or want more granular support, the full Everyday Athlete tier may be more suitable. It includes phase review calls and a longer-term periodised structure (typically over 6-months), which allows training, testing, and progression to be fully aligned with your sport or event.
Most online plans are cookie-cutter generic templates. The Everyday Athlete programme is fully bespoke tailored programming, direct coaching access, injury management, performance tracking, and ongoing adaptations to fit your real life and goals. This is a direct reflection of the pricing.
Typically, you’ll train 3–5 sessions per week, depending on your goals and your current training level. Sessions are around 45–75 minutes, and we’ll adjust based on your availability, lifestyle and ability.
Once your onboarding form is completed, you'll typically receive your programme within 72 hours. This ensures your programme is fully customised and aligned with your goals from the outset.
If you don't love the programme & service you receive within the first 14 days, then I'm just one simple polite email away and I'll refund you in full.
I know there's a lot of promises within the online space that sell you the "absolute dream " and don't deliver.
Let me take all the "risk" out of your decision with a money-back guarantee.
Because I am genuinely that confident in my very system and frameworks that if you apply yourself you will get insane results.
